We liked this charming small and modern hotel and stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were modern with a Scandinavian design, plus the bathroom was nice looking. The location was magnificent, in the fields coming there. Our breakfast was DELICIOUS and wonderful, they offered cereal and cheese.

Our stay was good, recommend this hotel to family. Clean venue, services were good and location was nice on the lower south coast. Location: the hotel was just next door to southern Iceland sights, a river nearby and the horses, and less for dinner.

Their staff were not very friendly.

Everything was first-rate.

We loved exploring the Lava Centre and the nearby golf course. The view from the hotel was fine, and the breakfast buffet was the best we had during our trip. The staff was really friendly.

Our room had some bright outdoor lights that kept us up at night. It made it hard to sleep and see the stars.

Hotel Laekur's charming decor and cozy fireplace created a warm home-like atmosphere. The lounges were comfortably furnished, especially of Mt. Hekla.

More accessible seating in the dining area would help.

I had a fantastic time enjoying the hot tub and sauna after a long day of exploring. The views from the rooms are just breathtaking, and the breakfast spread was something to look forward to every morning. Only downside was that the bathroom could've used some updating, but overall, I would definitely recommend it! 😊

Accessing nearby towns requires a bit of a trek, as this place is a good distance from additional dining or attraction options.
